What can I expect?
Take a joyride on an electric bike through the charming Hadlow village in the picturesque Medway Valley. Steeped in history, this place used to go by the Saxon name Haeselholte, as recorded in the Textus Roffensis. The Domesday Book noted it as Haslow, and throughout the Middle Ages, it transformed into Hadloe and then Hadlow. Cruise effortlessly down the quaint village street, lined with vintage brick houses and two iconic Tudor inns. Keep an eye out for the historic Hadlow Pharmacy on The Square, serving the community since at least 1856.
Continue along the River Bourne that meanders through the area, once powering a watermill in the heart of the village. Embark on your next pit stop adventure in Tonbridge on the River Medway! Park your bike, grab a paddleboard, and dive into the lake for a splashing good time with your very own British Canoeing Coach. After your paddleboard adventure, it’s time to pedal back to bliss! Cruise along Haysden Lake, pedal through picturesque hills to the charming village of Penshurst, nestled in the beautiful Kentish Weald.
