Deers, Motes and The Weald
Choose your starting point at Penshurst, Cowden or Hever Station. The route takes you along the edge of Knole Park towards Sevenoaks. Almost 950 acres and populated by around 350 wild deer.
Stop off at Igtham Mote for a tour. The route takes you up and around Carters Hill and One Tree Hill to be rewarded by southerly vistas across Weald. In contrast the tour drops you into the Eden Valley via Penshurst, Chiddingstone and Cowden before heading to Hever.Â
There are plenty of places to stop for refreshments, pubs, tea rooms, village stores and National Trust centres.
