Hop onto an e-bike for the day and explore the Kent countryside to this boutique English winery. Nestled in Shoreham a stones throw from London this hidden gem is a fantastic example of a small British Winery. Passionate about harvesting a delicious range of English wines from red, white to rose, discover the wonders of English viticulture and the history of their vineyard.
The informal yet informative wine tastings comprise of trying a selection of Vineyard wines while learning about what’s in your glass and how it got there. They also provide a cheeseboard to enjoy whilst your wine host introduces you to the English wine industry and how The Vineyard wine is made.
Cosy up next to the log burner in the tasting room this winter or enjoy an al-fresco tasting experience on the oak terrace in the summer months.
Why not continue your afternoon on the e-bike exploring the local area, this circular route we have created will take you through the village of Shoreham, located at the bottom of a hill by the River Darent. The name Darent means “clean water” as the water flows on a bed of chalk. The River Darent takes its source in Westerham, Kent, and flows all the way to Dartford where it joins the River Thames. It’s a great village to explore by e-bike, explore the ancient church and paths that skirt the northern side, around the back of the vineyard. Immerse yourself in history, greet local people as you cycle by and feel all the benefits of getting active and being out in the fresh air.
With pedal assistance only a basic fitness level is required. Cruise almost effortlessly along those country cycle ways, covering more distance with less effort. Our team are on hand to collect and deliver the e-bike by one of our local carry riders.

Important things to know:
The Vineyard Courtyard Bar and Restaurant is open Wednesday to Saturday, 12.00pm – 11.00pm and Sunday 12.00pm – 6.00pm for drinks and dining.
Tastings take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 12:30 and 14:30, lasting approximately an hour and a half.
